Preventative Maintenance
The implementation of our Material Management program begins with an evaluation of the situation. This leads to the development of a plan for the organisation of work. This plan will be finalised in consultation with all executive committee members.
Review Maintenance Operating Procedures: BFMS has extensive experience in the implementation of preventative maintenance programs and systems including the development of internal software programs used in the tracking and reporting of maintenance activities.
Plant Operations and Maintenance Audit: BFMS will actively inspect the completed maintenance tasks. Asset audits will be carried out annually.
Review Current/Proposed maintenance: BFMS will review all current or proposed maintenance initiatives and validate the requirements as part of the overall facilities plan.

The following services will be supervised by BFMS:

• Fire and essential services
• Air conditioning and mechanical
• Lifts
• General contractors
• Electrical
• Plumbing & hydraulic
• Pest control
• Security
• Grounds maintenance

Before the inception of these services it is our practice to:

• Establish trade specifications & draft appropriate tender documents
• Obtain quotations to provide these services
• Meet with the Executive Committee to recommend contractors
• Finally, establish the contract
